Blade3D comes with a rich, professional environment that is totally integrated with the core engine and component system. With the Blade3D toolset you can quickly build worlds and get real-time feedback throughout the whole process. All objects in the system can be edited uniformly using the built in object browser and property sheet editors. Not only this but all editors and tools in the system support modeless operation and two-way feedback. This means that as you work there are no interruptions that might hinder your creative flow.

Blade3D also has a great set of features to enable sharing of ideas and content with other members of the community. For example, you can share your work with others by posting any part of your project to the community website directly from within the environment. You can also browse and access public content that others have created. Options allow you to specify exactly who can access your content making this a great feature for team collaboration and educators.

The Blade3D runtime also provides many other core services such as background timers, property interpolation and state serialization (to both XML and binary streams). Because everything in the system is accessed uniformly, it is easy to configure exactly which objects and properties collaborate in a networked setting.
